Rooms
Carey’s Manor is a building of two halves, with the grander original rooms on the manor side contrasting with the more basic 60s-built garden rooms, which make up for in garden access what they might lack in authentic charm. For a more ‘boutique’ experience head to the nearby and charming Daisybank B&B, also in Brockenhurst.

The Rhassoul experience, which takes place in its own mosaic-tiled steam room, is fun for couples. The Royal Thai Indulgence with herbal poultices is, as the name suggests, a deeply indulgent treatment. Or, for those of you who like a really good stretch, you can’t beat a Traditional Thai Remedial Massage (and a photo of the special Thai pyjamas you’ll wear will be crying out to be Instagrammed!) Top tip: if you’re lunching in your swimwear and robe, pop into the sauna for a quick dry first.
