Spa info

House Spa delivers serenity from the second you step into its Scandi chic aura. With its top-class facilities and treatments, and all-round slick experience, it’s not surprising it made the 2022 Spavellous List with flying colours.

Within the sandy stone walls of The House Spa you’ll find a serene 16m infinity pool, fireside outdoor hot tub on the spa terrace, thermal suite, mud room and i-sopod floatation tank. There’s also a couple’s treatment room and plenty of space to relax. And a dedicated menu for male spa guests too.

Treatment highlights

Luxurious natural and organic treatments by Tata Harper and Temple Spa are expertly delivered with a personalised touch. These include bespoke rituals, CBD treatments and pregnancy treatments, plus manicures and pedicures at the sleek champagne Nail Parlour.

If you’re looking to stay over, there are 38 individually designed rooms, including 11 suites, which range from ‘Comfy’ and ‘Intimate’ to Splendid’ and ‘Top Notch’. All have individual touches like freestanding tubs or, in the case of the Rose Cottage and Courtyard Suite, their own outdoor hot tub. Two of the rooms have been designed with accessibility as priority too.

wining & dining

The Back Garden restaurant offers seasonally inspired dining, which is described by Dormy House as ‘locally sourced, naturally inspired and inventively prepared’, which sums it up nicely. The menu features delicacies like Comté cheese soufflé, duck breast with orange, roasted cauliflower and rib-eye steak.

Dormy House’s fine dining restaurant, MO, offers an imaginative and ever-changing 8 course set menu and allows the chefs to flex their silky culinary skills while you flex your tastebuds (and wallet). Perfect for a special occasion treat.

The friendly Potting Shed bar continues to quench thirst in cosy comfort. And the light and airy Greenhouse spa café, is the place to go for breakfast, sweet treats and light lunches.

If you’re looking to venture off the premises, local pub The Swan also serves good quality, hearty pub grub and fine ales.

why so spavellous?

Dormy House is a classy classic that unassumingly excels at everything, from its décor and cuisine, to service and spa treatments. House spa has a luxurious, calming feel and there’s something on the treatment menu to hit the spot for everyone.
